Transport in Nood is ready for the start of the new Posting law!

As of 02-02-2022, changes in the Posting Legislation (Minimum Wage Act), are going to take place.

The new Mobility package will come into effect on February 2, 2022. The European Commission will introduce a new portal (called IMI) in which all international drivers have to be registered and where posting declarations per country can be created. The aim of this new portal is to create unity in the application of the minimum wage law in all European countries (decent work, fair pay).

IMI will replace the current posting legislation and the current country portals (Sipsi, Milog, Limosa, etc.). The current portals will still remain available for temporary workers.

There will be new rules whereby drivers in a number of situations must provable receive the minimum wage of the country concerned for the hours they are posted there.

Transport in Nood, in collaboration with TLN and the IRU, is closely following developments with regard to the IMI system.

Until recently, it was not clear what exactly the IMI portal would mean. Since the 6th of January,  Transport in Nood has been given access to a trial version of the IMI portal in order to carry out some tests. The official portal will most likely be launched by the European Commission at the end of this month or early next month.

The solutions that Transport in Nood offers:

  1. Creating and managing the IMI account.
  2. Adding drivers and making declarations for the desired countries in the IMI account. You can effortlessly notify us of any kind of changes in your drivers file; for example new drivers, address changes, name changes, etc. We will immediately process the changes in the IMI declarations.
  3. Renewing IMI declarations that are almost expired.
  4.  Thanks to our unique TiN App, we can deliver all IMI declarations GDPR-proof to the relevant driver.
  5. TiN delivers all IMI declarations GDPR-proof via one ZIP file to our customers.
  6. It takes just 1 klick to start and/or end a posting via our App. This action can be executed by both the driver and the planner.
  7. An overview of the time registration of the posted drivers, completed with all hours worked and the minimum hourly wages of the relevant countries. Therefore your payroll administrators can specify this on the pay slip.
  8. Maintaining contact with the authorities in the countries where your drivers are or have been posted.
  9. If necessary, conducting objection procedures related to posting inspections throughout Europe.

Our customers do not need to take any action yet.

We will contact you shortly to request additional data required in the IMI portal.

We will of course keep you informed of further developments. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at  minimumloon@transportinnood.nl
