If so, you may be entitled to a refund from the Spanish tax authorities!<\/p><p>Both the European and Spanish courts have ruled that part of the Spanish fuel tax \u2013 specifically the so-called\u00a0<em>\u201cautonomous part\u201d<\/em>\u00a0of the IEH (Special Hydrocarbon Excise Duty) \u2013 was levied unlawfully.<\/p><p>As the courts confirmed the illegality of this tax, we are organizing a group claim in collaboration with our trusted partner and with the support of KPMG Spain. This claim is on a\u00a0<strong>no cure, no pay<\/strong>\u00a0basis \u2013 the percentage to be charged upon success will be disclosed later.<br \/>Transport in Nood charges an administration fee of \u20ac75 for members and \u20ac150 for non-members.<\/p><h3 data-end=\"74\" data-start=\"42\">\ud83d\udd0d <strong>What\u2019s the issue?<\/strong><\/h3><p data-end=\"74\" data-start=\"42\">Between 2013 and 2018, Spain imposed an additional regional fuel tax in several areas. This so-called &#8220;autonomous tax&#8221; has now been declared invalid by both the European Court of Justice and the Spanish Supreme Court.<br \/>Companies that purchased fuel in Spain during this period can recover part of their expenses through legal proceedings.<\/p><h3 data-end=\"74\" data-start=\"42\">\ud83d\udee2 <strong>Which fuels are eligible?<\/strong><\/h3><ul><li>Diesel A<\/li><li>Diesel B<\/li><li>Petrol<\/li><\/ul><h3>\ud83d\udccd\u00a0<strong>Which Spanish regions are included?<\/strong><\/h3><p>Here is a map of Spain \u2013 only fuel purchased in the green regions is eligible for the claim.<\/p><p>\u274c\u00a0<strong>Important:<\/strong>\u00a0La Rioja and the Basque Country (Pa\u00eds Vasco) are excluded from this claim.
