Germany digital registration

• Registration entry into Germany

We receive many reports from our customers that the German portal would not work properly. If it is technically not possible to register the driver online, this replacement form can be used. This must be taken upon entry. As far as we know, a new notification must be made for each new entry into Germany.

• Exception to the registration requirement

Transport personnel are exempt from registration if they will be staying in Germany for less than 24 hours. For a longer stay, a digital registration requirement applies before entering Germany.

• Exception to the test obligation

If you stay in Germany for less than 72 hours, you do not have to show a negative test if you work in the transport sector. The exception also applies to transport personnel who, for example, have to travel to Germany to collect or repair a truck.
