2G & 3G legislation employers in Denmark from 26 November

In Denmark, a new law comes into effect today that allows companies to require a Covid certificate from visitors. For professional drivers, this means that companies can ask for a recovery certificate, a vaccination certificate or a negative corona test. A negative rapid test is valid for 48 hours and a PCR test is valid for 72 hours.

Do you have Danish partners or clients? Contact them and ask if they require a Covid certificate.

Do you work in Denmark? As of today, employees are obliged to show a Covid certificate or to be tested and to announce the results when the employer asks for it. This is legal. If the employer wishes to make use of this option, he must first inform the employee in writing.
